In the Langhe, the gastronomic tradition is a treasure handed down from generation to generation. Wine is an important component of this tradition, with its fine grape varieties and cellars offering experiential tastings. Barolo and Nebbiolo are just some of the famous names of this region, which has always been recognized as one of the most important areas for the production of high quality wines.
The Langa is also the land of the truffle, a prized underground mushroom typical of the area known for its intense aroma and of the Bue Grasso di Carrù, a real treat for the palate. With its characteristic intense flavor and its tender and tasty meat, this product is an authentic piece of the Langhe gastronomic tradition. We would like to mention two other important events easily reachable from our structure: the Pumpkin Fair of Piozzo and the great Fair of Santuario di Vicoforte.

Among the best-known events, also at an international level, the International Fair of the Alba White Truffle certainly deserves a mention, which celebrates the prized white truffle; the International Festival of Bue Grasso which has been held every year in Carrù since 1473 and which honors the local culinary tradition and the fat ox; the National Hazelnut Fair which is held every year in various places in the Langhe, and celebrates the production of hazelnuts and hazelnut-based products; Vinum, which is held every year in Alba and showcases the entire local wine production.
